Kevin Folta, a professor at the University of Florida, makes a nice sideline income giving talks on the wonders of Monsanto products.
In 2015, The New York Times reported that Monsanto had “passed out an undisclosed amount in special grants to scientists like Kevin Folta,” and that Folta “correspond regularly with executives at Monsanto.”
The hip “libertarian” dude in the black leather jacket is Nick Gillespie, former editor-in-chief of Reason magazine and ReasonTV.com.

In December of 2015, Dr. Eilish Cleary MD was fired from her position as Chief Medical Officer for the Province of New Brunswick.
Unnamed provincial officials stated it was a “personnel” matter and not political.
At the time of her firing, Dr. Cleary said her firing was without cause.
A month later, she and the Province came to an understanding which resulted in her receiving a $750,000 payment.
Mario Levesque, a political science professor at Mount Allison University, said about the payment: “I think this is hush hush money.”
When reached by phone by a Canadian Broadcasting Company reporter Dr. Clearly declined to comment.
What was Dr. Cleary doing at the time she was fired?
She was studying glyphosate which is spayed heavily on New Brunswick forests.
